Dr. Victoria J Mondloch, MD, S.C.
My secret for feeling young and vibrant during menopause? Dr Vicki! …and info in her latest menopause book, Full Bloom and Beyond.
An OB-GYN, wife, mother of 3 highly successful daughters and president of her own highly successful medical practice of over 30 years, that partners with her patients to empower them to participate in their own healthcare. Dr Mondloch believes that women who are allowed to understand how their bodies change over the course of their hormonal career path, are better equipped to best take care of and participate in their own healthcare.
Too often, medicine is ‘reactive’ instead of ‘proactive’ to the changing needs of women, offering chemical or pharmaceutical solutions or only offering a surgical solution to a medical issue as a ‘last resort’. Women are led to believe that this is their only course of action; being told either ‘I have a pill for that’ or ‘Call me when you’re ready for your surgery’.
Instead, Victoria is an advocate for women who deserve the respect of being a partner in their healthcare; working to hormone balance their own bodies to take a more preventative direction to help fend off or avoid the need for pharmaceutical or surgical intervention.
Dr Mondloch is the author of 2 of her planned 4 books series:
Blossoming: Becoming a woman—a daughter-mother guide to the myths and truths about puberty and the ‘lead-up’ to a young woman’s menstrual career. She lays out the science and describes adolescent women’s medicine in terms that the teen and her parent truly can navigate together and understand as well as how to approach their healthcare provider for their best care possible.
Full Bloom: Menopause, Post-Menopause and Beyond—an owner’s guide to the myths and truths surrounding the wild ride of hormone swings that occur starting at age 40 and helping women understand their transition from ‘hormones’ to ‘no hormones’, putting the science and research behind these changes so that women understand the multiple health advantages that bio-identical hormone replacement offers for cardiovascular health and protection from all mortality, including CANCER.
Book 3 will focus on the hormonal pitfalls of the 20-40 y/o female
Book 4, her final book will focus on the hormone myths and truths of men; how Testosterone is so much more than their sex life.
