My life was deeply affected by the mental, emotional and physical illness of loved ones from a very young age, and it has in many ways shaped the woman I have become.
I, myself, lived through crippling anxiety and panic attacks, years of depression and hormone imbalance. I self-soothed those disorders with sugar, alcohol and emotional eating as my primary coping strategy. I knew the food made it worse, but it was the only thing that made things feel better, and this assault committed again and again on my own body further diminished my self-esteem and self-trust.
I am here today because I decided I did not want to suffer any more and that surely there were real solutions beyond medication and maintenance of symptoms. In the last 15 years I sought out those solutions in research, courses, certifications and deep personal transformation and growth.
I discovered the tools I needed to heal my body, to soothe and calm my mind and to nourish my soul. I am here to share them with you because I know your pain, I know what you are moving through and I want to show you the way out.
